Open Garden Day, Sunday, October 15th, 2023, 10 AM to 12:30 PM, October Opulence

One ticket admits one vehicle with up to six passengers. No refunds. Rain or Shine. Tickets may be given as a gift.

The garden will be featuring plants of early autumn including native conclinium (Mist flower), native frost asters, native and  other Asters, Boltonia, hardy chrysanthemums, roses, late Hibiscus including some natives, Brugmansia, golden angel’s trumpet flower, abundant big Salvia of many species, native Devils Club, Mina Lobata vine in flower, possible Passion flowers in bloom, including possibly the very rarely seen Giant Passion flower (Granadilla) with five inch flowers.  The epiphyte garden will be still on display with the Bromeliades and orchids still in bloom. The many shrubs with berries especially the native deciduous hollies will be covered with berries in rich reds and oranges. There will also be some plants showing good fall leaf color, as well as late blooming , annuals, Rose Creek Abelia, and more. Call it October opulence!  Be sure to bring a camera, pictures are allowed.
