Our Mission

Mill Pond Garden strives to educate the public on the traditional American Style Garden, promote the garden as a habitat for birds, pollinators, and all wildlife, and use of primarily native plants, through educational tours, educational publications, scientific botanic plant labels, educational presentations, and by the sheer beauty of the whole garden immersion experience.

Mill Pond Garden strives to educate the public on the New American Garden, promote the garden as a habitat for birds, pollinators, and all wildlife through use of primarily native plants, wetland and hibernation habitats, educational tours, educational publications, botanic name plant labels, educational presentations, educational blogs, and by the sheer beauty of the whole garden immersion experience.

MPG is a member of the American Public Gardens Association, The Sentinel Plant Network, the National Wildlife Federation, and a Certified Wildlife Habitat. We are staffed by a Horticulturist, a Civil Engineer, a Plant Scientist, and an MBA, blessed with occasional volunteer help and thoughtful donors.
