Red Mill Pond is one of the largest coastal ponds in Delaware, spanning 158 acres with 11 miles of shoreline and featuring a diverse array of wildlife, as well as numerous beautiful villas along its banks. The pond also boasts a floating island, but public access and use are limited to this tour. Bookings are scarce, plan ahead, and are dependent on good weather. Recommended to bring a hat, a wrap, sunglasses, a camera, and a bottle of water.

Be sure to use a restroom before you arrive for the tour.

The Red Mill Queen is a battery-powered pontoon boat, with low noise, comfortable seats, lifejackets provided, safe and stable, and small enough for shallow draft needed in many parts of the pond.
